How to copy and paste

In Reader X, it is no longer possible to copy and paste text, as there is no Text Selection tool. How does one copy and paste?

    Unfortunately, these methods don't work. I have tried them before. After the copying, there is not "paste" option provided in the other application.

    What is the other application?  What means "there is no paste option"; is it greyed out - meaning the clipboard is empty?

    Just copied this (portion from the Adobe Reader release notes), and paste it in here...

    Description

    This release is a quarterly release for the products listed in the table below. The latest version is always available through the product’s update mechanism, from the enterprise FTP site, and for some languages, from RDC (usually en, fr, de, ja, and es).

    I have also problem with copy paragraph "References" from http://www.vse.cz/polek/download.php?jnl=aop&pdf=3.pdf

    Copy to plain text dokument (.txt)

     

    Problem with spaces in words

    "Eko no mist" => correct: "Ekonomist"

    Ge ne va => Geneva

    Re view=>Review

    Ma ri time=>Maritime

    etc.

     

    plain text is:
