How do I switch heads of 2 persons?

Aug 11, 2012 11:45 AM

I used to be able to do this with Photo Impact but they no lobger exist..I have Photoshop Elements 7. I want to put Adam's haed on Eve's body and vice versa.  Photo Impact is like flying a Piper Cub and Elements 7 is like flying a DC7 jet!

    1. Make a selection of Adam's head with one of the selection tools, then go to Layer>new>layer via copy.
    2. Make a selection of Eve's head, go to Layer>new>layer via copy

    3. Access the move tool, make Adam layer active and position Adam's head over Eve's head, and resize with the corner handles of the bounding box

    4. Do same for Eve layer
    5. Open a blank layer at the top of the stack of layers, and touch up with the clone tool
