Different Colours on Computer and in Lightroom

When I try to add pictures from my computer into lightroom the colours are different. I will click on import and then select the file of the pictures I want to add into Lightroom, but the colours are not as they should be in the previews. In the original there is a wide range of colours, but in the lightroom preview (even before I actually import them) it is only reds, yellows, and oranges that are shown. I have tried to import the images anyways but they are still the same. The saturation is weird but if i try to fix it, it fixes it as if these parts are black and white, the original colours don't show up. How can i fix this?

    Alright, so I found one way to solve this problem (if someone else has it at some point). I was able to uninstall lightroom 4 (and delete the files on my computer with lightroom 4 including the catalog) and reinstalled the program. This reset everything and now the picutres are looking properly as they should be.
