Everytime I reopen a CS6 Photoshop file the text areas switch places, switch layers. I cannot use Photoshop CS6 for Mock ups with text. Is anybody else having this problem?
I tried opening the file in CS5 and the type is still switching places!
It's a known problem with the Photoshop release, and Adobe claims to have reproduced it and is working on a fix. Unfortunately, your saved file is corrupt and no one has discovered a way to fix it.
We're all anxiously awaiting version 13.0.1.
I saved flattened files of all the non text and am marrying it up with the text in Illustrator. It was just a comp. I have options. What a mess! I wish I had had a heads up. Hope Adobe fixes this soon, at least they are working on it.
I'm absolutely LIVID! I have to hand off weeks worth of work to a developer, and it looks like I'll have to recreate it all?!?!?!?! Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit? This is absolutely unacceptable. Adobe, if you knew about this you should have sent out an email at least warning us of the possibilty that using Layer Comps might result in a file corruption!
I don't think it had anything to do with Layer Comps, but rather just with Text layers.
And it's been fixed since 13.0.1 was released. Did you create your document prior to 13.0.1?
