Did you buy the boxed version of the software or did this come with your Dell computer? I am mentioning DELL because DELL has the habit of bundling Adobe Software.
If you bought the boxed version, then you will have received 3 CDs. If this is the case then you can install it on your Mac because one of the CDs is for Mac. You are allowed to install the software on two machines without any problems anyway.
If the machine is infected with viruses, then you need to clean it up. The machine is still functional and all it needs is an attention by a technician who can help you to clean it up and make it safe. Is the machine still working? If it is then you better de-Activate the software so that your two installations are still preserved otherwise you will need to phone and all the hassle that goes with it.
If you don't have the CD to install on your Mac, then you could download the trial version from Adobe Website and try to see if it accepts your serial number. It is worth a try otherwise you will have to buy again.
Good luck.
If you use organizer, you're going to have a hard time transferring your catalog unless you can get PSE 10 working on the other computer. To move an organizer catalog from windows to mac, you make a fulll back up using PSE for windows, then restore it on the mac, pointing the restore to the .tly file, not the enclosing folder.
If you can't do that, you'll have to start over, if you still want to use organizer.
There's no problem with the editor.
