I'm trying to view some animated gifs in Bridge CS6, but they are cropped when I go into slideshow view. I'm glad that Adobe finally incorporated viewing animated gifs into Bridge, but unfortunately, it seems that the viewing window for them is fixed and anything larger than the window gets cropped.
When you get into the slideshow aspect a whole lot depends of the video card/driver. Make sure you have an updated driver.
Also, in advanced preferences check "use software rendering" and see if that makes a difference. If the GPU is underpowered that can help.
Thanks, Curt Y. I have a halfway decent graphics card an Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTX+, which I think is capable of rendering some rinky-dink animated gifs. I checked the "use software rendering" and also selected "generate monitor-sized previews" for good measure. I'm still getting the same cropped results. So far no joy. Thanks for your help though.
