Photoshop elements 8 problem

Aug 11, 2012 11:16 PM

I got a computer that did not work properly and it took over a year to get this corrected. Photoshop elements 8 was preinstalled on computer. However, when I try to open it, the initial page comes up but clicking on organize or edit only results in an error and it never opens. I tried system restore. I could not find a place to get updates or reload this version. What do I do?????? I have never even used it!  Thanks

Well, if it was pre-installed then there's probably not much anyone can do. It is eitehr part of the vendor's system restore disk or a separate, pre-serialized version which you were supposed to burn to a backup disk or that is on a extra CD/ DVD that came with the computer. Therefore any normal PSE 8 installwer would not be much use to you, because you have no serial number to input. The only way out of this would be to just buy PSE 10, if you are really interested in using this stuff. For specific usage questions ask in the PSE forum.
