Three methods:
(1) The official approach: Connect your iPad to your computer. Open iTunes. Select the iPad in the Devices section on the left. Click the Apps tab at the top. Scroll down to the File Sharing section on the bottom. Click on the Adobe Reader icon. Click Add and navigate to select the PDF file. (See screen capture below):
(2) Email the PDF and open it in Mail on the iPad. In the message, click on the PDF icon. Mail will preview it. Click on the Share icon and select Open With, and select Adobe Reader
(3) Use Dropbox. Get the Dropbox app for the iPad. Copy the PDF to your Dropbox account. Open the Dropbox app. Open the PDF file. Click the Share icon and select Open With, and select Adobe Reader
