OPENGL options?

Aug 12, 2012 10:37 AM

Is there anyway of turning on or off OPENGL options on an iMac.

Illustrator CS6 /

AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512ram

I'm trying to reduce the screen lag and wonder if this would help?

No features in AI support Open GL Open GL is a support that the system offers if you have a supported graphic card there is no way to turn it off sysem wide but you can turn it off in Photoshop. Although I do not think this will cause lag I guess there could conceivably a reason why it would cause lag. I have  noit heard of such a thing.

I do know of somehing that can cause an application to lag. It is not a popular piece of advice and gets other users angry but if you keep in mind that it worked for me and I understand for other people then you can try it.

But if it in anyway upsets you then don't try it it is only a suggestion.

Clear the personal cache files out.

read this article to learn how to do so.
