Enable paywall

Aug 13, 2012 10:59 AM

I used the account administration tool to set a paywall limit of 2 for one of our publications.

When I go to test the results, it still allows me to view all the unprotected stories.

  • Do I need to rebuild the multiviewer?
  • Or does it take a while to go into effect?
  • Or am I missing something altogether?

The multiviewer was already built with all the social sharing features enabled and is working fine, but I am not hitting a paywall limit when testing after using the administration tool.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dave

Are the articles from a free folio? With v22, the paywall affects only articles in retail folios.

It means it just changed from the past releases. The demo paywall I set up for the free DPS Tips app used to work, but now it wouldn't. An option to enable the firewall for free folios would be nice. To file a feature request, go here: www.adobe.con/go/wish

I can confirm we got the request via the website, it was sent to the right team internally, we've opened a work item for it, and (fingers crossed) we'll be able to address this in release 23.
