Image shift in PDF's

I have a logo, it's a styleized letter L in a psd file. When I output it from an InDesign document to postscript file and run it through Distiller the file shifts slightly so that it looks like a path with the points not perfectly in line. I've checked and replaced the psd file but it's okay. Any thoughts?
