Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended
Quick background. Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. This used to work fine but after my system we reloaded from scratch I'm having issues.
When I print from a website the resulting PDF shows garbaled text. When I look at the embeded fonts, it's showing Courier (Embeddd Subset). On another system in our office, also with Acrobat 9 Pro Extended it works fine and instead of Courier, it is including Verdana. I've tried copying over the fonts from the working PC to this one, but it didn't work.
From the Print dialog, pull up the Preferences for Adobe PDF Printer
Toggle or detoggle the System fonts button shown.
You can set this as a default - I go back & forth regularly working on supplied doc's and forget which is the best choice...
Printers > PDF Printer > Advanced (?)
Additionally, there is a top level preference for any PDF preset with font locations and embed preference
