Fade and Hold Gray using Captivate 5.5

I am trying to have a piece of text display at 100% opacity for approximately 3-4 seconds and then reduce to 25% opacity immediately for the duration of the slide.  The "fade in and out" feature doesn't perform the action quick enough for my purposes as I need an immediate transfer and for the text to stay displayed until transitioning to the next slide.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this?  I've been banging my head on the keyboard for a bit too long now.  Thanks!

    Did you try to apply the Effect AlphaFromTo ? You can time it very short, and start at 4 secs like in this screenshot:

    Here I applied it to a drawing object with text. The effect, with the settings you see, is at 4secs and takes about 0,1sec.
