A draw error occurred

We are getting this error in our plugin on Acrobat 9. As of yet, my tester has not been able to reproduce it reliably, so I'm afraid I'm short on details. What I can say though is that we do override the page view draw notification. Inside that notification we use the AVPageView{Begin, End}Drawing() methods to cut down on redraws. My suspicion is that the error is related to this? Can anyone offer suggestions as to what else might cause this? I'm not even sure where to begin.
She was seeing this on Acrobat 9. Neither of us have been able to trigger it on Acrobat X. Any suggestions would be more than appreciated. Thanks in advance.
