Air update fails for Adobe Community Help app

Hi,

Everytime I open Adobe Audition Help I get a popup telling me Adobe Air has an update for me to install:

Installed: 2.5.1.17730

Update: 3.3.0.3670

Everytime it fails to install saying I need to contact the administrator. Well, that´s me . Does anybody know what to do?

Hi Charles: have you tried manually updating the AIR runtime via adobe.com's download page? http://get.adobe.com/air/

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your reply. I had not, but have now. This hasn´t helped though:

I tried to execute the installer as is, as an administrator and as a XP SP3 installer, nothing worked.

Any other options?

Hi Charles: hmm... this is definitely an issue on the AIR side. Have you checked out the troubleshooting doc for AIR installations here?

Also, there is a dedicated forum for troubleshooting AIR intsallations here:
http://forums.adobe.com/community/air/installation
