I have cs5 and I have a whole bunch of old tiff's and I want to convert them all to jpeg's...is there a way I can do a mass conversion from one to the other. Also I want to change pix size and resolution. If so how do I do it?? I know it can be done on Elements, if I can do it on that then there must be a way to do it on cs5

Noel,
I went to image processor after I filed my request....and got to fiddleing with it and got part of it figure out....now how do you set the resolution on it. I have the w and the h that is no problem but I cannot figure out for the resolution...does the quality have something to do with it...it was set on 5 and after I ran a test the resolution was 300...how close am I to solving this

I seem to remember a field for setting that, but I may be remembering Russell Brown's Image Processor Pro script, which expands on the Image Processor's capabilities in almost every way...
Yes, it appears Image Processor Pro was what I was remembering. It's a free download from here: http://russellbrown.com/scripts.html
This is its dialog. Note the Resolution field.
Once installed, this one is available in the File - Automate - Image Processor Pro menu.

Noel,
I am back....well I did d/l Dr Browns script....wow this prog takes you for a ride for installing....rather than being straight forward, you start in photoshop then you have to go to bridge..from there you select your input files..go to tools...select dr brown scrips pro and then you get to select all of the boxes and then you get a choice of jpg, tiff, psd..select your h and w put in your resolution and go.I selected option 1 which was jpg...hit the go button and low and behold it is doing its thing..after it is all done went to the out put file and guess what I got all 3 .....psd,tiff and jpeg...should I only get one, like the one I selected ....jpeg
what am I doing wrong to get all three when that is not an option
Capt
PS
I can do a select type take the ones that I want and trash the other
