A virus was found in file

I get an error message, that a virus was found in the file, I am trying to sent.

In this case it is a .m4v video file from my video camera, which was converted by Compressor.

My virus scanner does not show any infection.

 

If Adobe found a virus, how do I know which one it is? What if Adobe is wrong, and there is no virus?

    I have two files, one is 1.45GB, and the smaller version is 270MB, I have to try to create a smaller file for an email.

    Hello Sarabjit,

     

    OK, i tried this now with the smaller files. They went through fine. Then I tried the 270MB file again, and this time it went through fine. No virus message.

     

    Looks like this was only a temporary issue!?

     

    I let you know, if it happens again.

    Now after a few days, I get this error message:

    svr.VirusScanExecutionError

    [VirusScanExecutionError] VirusScan exited with errorCode=-1

     

    And again the file is too large to email. And if I try a few more times, or maybe tomorrow, it may work.
