Dears,
Thank you for this article.
I guess from what I have read till now about the issue (bigSound.mp3) should be changed to the full path of that audio file e.g ("C:\Users\guest\Desktop\bigSound.mp3") in order to work, kindly give me a feedback on that and where exactly should an audio file be placed to be loaded? in the src file or somewhere else along with its copy in desktop for example? Can I load or read a wave audio file to use it in my flash builder environment instead of .mp3?
Thank you again and Best regards,
@Adobe_MM, I think the assumption is that bigSound.mp3 is on the web server under the same directory as the SWF file. In any case, it's a URL, not a file path.
I don't think you can use a .WAV file. Check out http://help.adobe.com/en_US/as3/dev/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118a9b902 04-7d27.html for more basics.
Also, you might want to look at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/fla sh/media/Sound.html for more information and for code examples.
