I am legitimate owner/user of PSE10.
When trying to access/open PSE10 I receive error msg: "... missing files ... reinstall ..."
When I download PSE10 from the Adobe "My Order" site and try to install the Install Wizard only gives me the option to REMOVE
PSE10; nothing else.
How can i reinstall this application ?

You could try downloading from a different source but firstly, use the control panel/uninstaller to get rid of everything. Then go to the link below and download the free trial (it’s exactly the same as the full product) and if you get it installed, simply enter your product serial number to make it permanent.

You need to contact support directly for activation/deactivation and other installation issues. It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away. You will need your serial number.

Run the Microsoft Fixit utility to correct the previous installation issues:

then restart your computer and re-install PSE.

System:
Win 7, lots of RAM, lots of disk (internal/external) space.
Problem:
(1) When launching PSE10 I received error message stating that files were
missing and I needed to reinstall PSE10.
(2) I downloaded PSE10 from (my last order) Adobe but the set up wizard only
gave option to remove.
(3) I downloaded the PSE10 trial version and the result was the same.
(4) I deleted (also manually) all traces I could find of PSE10
(5) And repeated steps 2 and 3 with same results.
Is there a solution to this besides reinstalling Win 7 ?
