    Yeah, I was initially surprised by the resolution but thinking it through and the target market they're going for, it makes sense.. plus, I like the sound of an iPad Air :-]

    You get the feeling it's going to be big whatever it's called though, if the price roumours are true it's going to be hard to resist! :]

    if it's really 1024, it will be easily adressible with DPS, but chrunching

    the same designs on a 3 inch smaller screen … i don't know about that.

    Totally agree, the smaller screen throws in more challenges (and work!) than anything else, but like you say it's a comfortable size for DPS though.

     

    I supose how popular the new device is will dictate what we do in the end. It's going to be interesting to see how Apple play this screen size out, I don't think it's going to be an 'easy win' for them.

    just thinking ... with the current renditions concept all folios for the

    iPad appear exactly on the iPad mini, there would be no way to male a

    rendition specifically for the iPad mini.

     

    and then text might be too small for that form factor.

    Yeah, MSO et al...

     

    If the devices get 4G it might make me re-think my mobile work, I've struggled to get DPS working right on 3.5" but most of the work done could be enhanced to give a better experience with 7", it might be a better mobile design platform for DPS?
