Hi,
I am trying to generate a Word 2010 document from my RH9 project, and everything works smoothly except for the screen captures, where most are very distorted (they are the correct width, but much longer than they should be).
In order to avoid numbering issues with conditional text, images are always inserted after a Shift+Enter in procedures, so they have the same formatting as the step/bullet.
I cannot see any pattern in the distortion. Similar size dialog boxes may be okay after one step, but then distorted after the next step.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jackie
Adding the images that way will not cause them to be distorted. Have you tried right clicking and selecting Reset Size.

The images are good in the OLH and just squashed in the Word document, correct?
Are you mapping to a Word document in the last page of the printed documentation settings?
Can you recreate this in a new project?

Correct, images are fine in the OLH and stretched in Word.
There was a problem styles from both the template and the css.
I tried importing one topic into a new project, and it worked wonderfully
- Thanks!
I assume that I should import the whole project into a new project. Is there anything special I should do?
When you generate the printed document, are you linking to a Word template or using a CSS file?
Try linking to different options. That should tell you where the problem is. Once we know that, it may be that it is not necessary to create a new project.

Then you will need to tell us what the problem is!

The problem was that you said you had "a problem" which could have been anything, rather than no matter what you link to you have the same problem, that is the images are still distorted.
Can you share the project with me? If you can, zip it up and post back the size of the zip file. I will then advise how to get the file to me.

I apologize, you are correct, I was not very clear - comes from doing too many things at the same time.
Unfortunately I am not at liberty to send the file to you. Thanks for the offer.
If I rebuild the whole project, besides having to recreate the TOC and redo the variables, is anything else involved?
Before you go down that route, try creating a new SSL for the printed documenation, not a duplicate. Maybe the SSL is corrupt.
