Windows 7; I just installed CS6 (Master Collection). The installation went nicely, but when it was complete I found that there were no desktop shortcuts to any of the programs (except Acrobat X), nor Start menu items (again except Acrobat).
Is this normal? How do other CS6 users start their programs; directly from C:\Program Files ?
That's not normal, but perhaps you have permission issues on your start menu folder. Check it: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu. Also maybe the links were simply placed in an odd spot or some duplicate folder. Sometimes this happens due to language issues. Also check your user folder in C:\Users\Pat\AppData for stray stuff or "Sart Menu" folders that don't belong there.
