How can I set the installation path of Adobe Acrobat Reader 10 as the Download Assistant give me no options at all, it simply installs it on my C drive which is full?
Thank you
Download the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
When you run that installer, you can change the destination folder to anywhere you want:
Regarding your full C: drive, give CCleaner a try.
Thanks for the link - exactly what I was looking for.
My small C drive is a partition set by a particularly unhelpful IT department and is consequently full of applications such as Adobe Reader where there are no options to set the install destination folder. I have a massive D drive with lots of free space where I prefer to install programs, but some applications with proprietary download "assistants" etc are less than helpful.
Still, that's freed up 100MB or so ![]()
[off-topic] What I would do if I were to find myself in your situation was to repartition that drive with a bootable partitioning tool like PartedMagic. [/off-topic]
