Adobe Help has gone wrong

I am a relatively naive user of CS5.5. Suddenly, today, when I ask to use the help function for Ai and ID, I get the message:

Adobe AIR: This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing or contacting the publisher for assistance.

Re-installing what? Adobe AIR or the whole suite. (why Adobe AIR?)

How do I do it?
