i am trying to download the latest verison of adobe flash player. i am getting a message of download timed out. what does this mean and how do i fix it?

my system is 64 bit and windows 7 home premium. is there anything else needed?
Download the offline installer(s) from http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-pr oblems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer(s).
