I receive a message stating "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000001d). I am running Windows XP Home Edition with an AMD Athlon XP 3200, 2.2 GHz, 1.43 GB Ram (3.0 virtual RAM). Is my system too weak to support?

And what application? Yes, your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements for most CS6 apps, but that doesn't explain the error at all. The apps would still launch and just be slow as hog or give warnings where appropriate...

I have the same problem with trial versions of Illustrator and Photoshop CS6. Download and installation is OK. But after successfull installation both programs do not start.

My test machine is also a "weak" XP SP3 professional (englisch). Tested with regional settings german-german and en-us.

If you didn't receive any errors during the installation then it would be best if you post in the forum for the software you are facing difficulties with.
