behaviors (in the right colum) are grayed out. I was always able to select the behaviors list which dropped open and I selected the kaos I wanted. now, that list is just grayed out like there are no behaviors

why would this be a problem int he behavior when it worked fine all along. It;s not a new version of the behavior or anything. dreamweaver just stopped seeing behaviors or something. If I open the extension manager in dreamweaver it sees the extension and says it is enabled. but in dreamweaver there is nothing, that list is grayed out

I place a small photo, then click that photo apply the behavior for the pop up. That has always worked until this morning. In dreamweaver itself while editing the site the bahaviors is grayed out, you cant select it to get to the list. close the site and open the extension manager and it shows the extension as enabled. Open the page to edit it again, select the photo and the behaviors is still grayed out

Not sure what a template child is but I have tried oler pages that have nopt been changed in months, older sites, everything I can find and nothing allow the behaviors to become active again. this is very strange and very frustrating. I have been cruising along with ddreamweaver for years with no issues until cs 6, the ftp thing, did that update and the ftp seems fine but now the behaviors thing.

I tired deleting the behavior in the manager and then reinstalling it but no joy. the behaviors section is still grayed out.

I used the same DW template that I used on a couple hundred other pages that worked fine.

I am going to have to leave this for later. I am already late in leaving for the airport. thanks for your help.
