Last night I received a software update for my Adoby Acrobat 9 program. I updated the program without thinking twice about it. Now though, when I try to view any forms that I have distributed before the update, I can no longer view the form responses. I receive an error message stating that I need to update my Flash Player to the newest version. The problem is that my computer does not meet the compatiblity requirements for the newest Flash Player version and will not allow me to install the program. Is there anything that I can do to undo the Acrobat update or get around this Flash Player requirement. I cant view the forms, the responses, anything...
Hi WCUCATAMOUNT,
What OS are you working upon? Do you see any dialog being thrown when you try to view form responses? What error does the flash player installer throws?
Beginning 9.5.1 version, you'll need to have flash player installed on your machine separately in order to view pdfs' containing any swf content.
I am using OS 10.5.8 currently on my computer. When I try to view the responses, it pops up saying that I need to download the new Flash Player and sends me to the website to download the player. When I try to install the player, it closes before opening and says that it unexpectidly quit. Before I downloaded the update for Adobe on Tuesday, everything had been working perfect in terms of my ability to view the responses. I can still view the pdf's, just not the responses in the "Track Form" area.
