adobe_prtk returns code 3 (Serial Number is Not Well Formed)

Hi.

using the adobe_prtk kit to alter our Serial number for CS5... it is reporting error 3, which is Serial Number is Not Well Formed.

The question I have is this? How should the serial number be written.

numbers with dashes.. i.e 1234-1234, or numbers with no dashes, i.e. 12341234, or numbers with spaces.. 1234 1234?

(this text is a copy of another thread but my issue is the same...)

I am sorry but what product is Adobe_prtk or which product are you using it with?

Hi Jeff,

adobe_prtk in a provisioning toolkit for serializing / reserializing Adobe CS (in my case CS5) installations.
