Menu button/transitions keeps returning to the main menu instead of staying on the scene selection

maybe someone can help?? please...... Ive had this issue before.. it keeps coming up. I'm using Encore. Everything is good to go. Only issue I have is when clicking "scene selection" it transitions to the "scene selection" page BUT then goes right back to the main menu! None of the other pages do that...... and I tried to see the difference from one page to the next but it all looks correct/the same. I even checked the flowchart too.. BUT still  keeps bringing me back to the "main menu"! Any help is appreciated.

    Please post a screenshot of your flowchart.

     

    The main possibilities are that the scene menu is set to a short duration and an end action to return to the last menu, or that there is an button set back to the menu is set to default and autoactivate. Neither possibiility is likely, but then your menu isn't behaving!

    scene duartion is 30 seconds. I have the end action set at "link back to here" - didn't work - then I tried "scene selection/default" - didn't work then I tried "stop" didn't work.

    No problem. when you click reply, you will see a little camera icon. Just click and it will let you select your image.

    You have a main menu button on the main menu that would do what you describe. I don't see any main menu option from the scene selection menu.

     

    How do you return from the scene selection menu to the main menu?

     

    If you are not clicking the 3rd button on the main menu, then something is corrupt or needs to be refreshed. Try clearing the cache.

    "You have a main menu button on the main menu that would do what you describe." - I wonder if that is why I keep gettig an orphan alert to when checkig the project!?!?!?

     

    What happens is this: When on the main menu page I click the button to go to scene selections. The transition takes me to the sceen selection page and then jumps right back to the main menu page.

    It needs to stay on the scene selection page.. so I can select a scene.

     

    I will clean the cache ad get back to you asap. thanks.

    I honestly have no clue what I did but it seems to be working the way I need it to now. Good grief. Thanks so much for your help.

    No, an orphan is not connected; the main menu is connected.

     

    If there is nothing in the "orphanage" - you may have one of those phantom menus that was deleted but is stil in there somewhere.

     

    Sometimes the only solution with Encore is a "do over."

     

    Before doing so, I'd look at whether you have some other issues - such as the main menu 3rd button that is set to come back to the main menu.
