Hi - I got a brand new MacBook Pro Retina 2.6 running 10.8 and the education version of Adobe CS6 Master Collection.

When I start Dreamweaver I get the following message:

"You can't open the Application Dreamweaver CS6 because Power PC Applications are no longer supported."

I purchased CS6 on a disc.

I have looked into the different threads and info on the Adobe site, but it seems to refer to CS2. I have reinstalled Dreamweaver and still get the same message.

Can anyone please help?!

First, next time I'd recommend a more descriptive subject for your post.  Did the app install and just won't launch or is the installer giving you this error?  Also if you installed other programs, try going into another one to go to Help->De-Activate to disable the activation.  Then run the cleaner (link below) to get rid of anything Adobe, and then re-install.

If not you may need to give Adobe a call.  Maybe something bad with the disc they sent you or something wrong in production on their end.
