My website it not going directly to index.html

When i pull up my domain name its not going to index.html its going to a file directory with all the file name i know i am uploading it right what is going on?

 

http://creationsmh.com/

 

you have to type in

 

http://creationsmh.com/Index.html

 

to make it work correctly how do i make index.html the landing page?

    Note that you have named your file "Index.html" and you probably should be using "index.html".  Things on the web are usually CaSeSensitive!

    Some ISP servers require the 'frontpage' to be named homepage.html - this may be the case with yours but I would go to your ISP's FAQ page and try and find out what is required. It's unusual that a server would not be set up to find index.html, index.htm, homepage.html or homepage.htm but I guess there may still be some out there.

    Good spot Murray......not using lower case 'i' could mess things up.
