I am using Adobe 10 and I am trying to copy a PDF document that contains a picture and then paste into excel. However, I only want to select a portion of the picture and not the entire PDF document. When I do this, and I have tried every option available, it will paste all of the data associated with the picture into 1 column in excel. What I want, is for it to paste only the portion I've selected and copied into Excel as a 'picture'. This used to work in an older version of Adobe, but I cannot figure out to do it in 10.
Thanks for the quick update. I have the snapshot tool installed, but it only takes a snapshot of what's on the screen, and not the entire area I have selected. Remember, I am trying to copy the area I have selected and then paste that area into excel as a 'picture'.
With the snapshot tool, you drag it around what you want to copy. It does not copy the whole screen any time I have ever used it. Keep in mind that it copies at screen resolution and so if you want a portion, you may want to zoom in first and then use the tool.
