This time im sure its simple. all the images have a blue or purple outline around them idk why that i looked it up and everyone suggested changing the borders to none i did that but i still see outlines just in Internet explorer. what am i missing here?
I am sure the chap is in compatibility view. The post from our forum (on
the original thread, I believe) will show him or her quite simply how to
fix IE9. From there, he or she needs to address older versions of IE (as
well as old versions of Firefox) by including the script that Adobe
somehow neglected to deliver by default with an HTML5 DOCTYPE.

It's identical in Firefox 14 and IE9 except for the default border around the images inside your a tags. To fix that, add this rule to your style sheet:
a img {border: none;}
Perhaps English is not your native language and your eyes are glossing over because of all the information being thrown at you, but you have neither included the IE edge meta tag nor the legacy browser HTML5 shim script.
I do not believe in using HTML5 DOCTYPES yet so I do not have a copy of the script handy. But to lock IE9 into standards mode, simply place this meta tag in the head of your document:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=Edge">
