The controls on HDR toning can I take control

Aug 15, 2012 12:12 PM

I like the adjustment panel on HDR toning. Is there a way that I can just use those controls without HDR taking over and doing it thing. In other words I just want to open up and not have hdrt make its adjustment I want to do it my self because all of the controls are right there.

are you talking about the HDR conversion dialog box? you can change the method to local adaption and adjust the curves manually, etc. :

or you can use HDR toning:and you can adjust tone and detail, edge glow, and shadows, highlights, vibrance and saturation:

Your request is a bit vague...

Are you hoping to have it start with your own set of control settings vs. its defaults?  I don't think there's a way to do that, though you can create named presets that can be selected by just a couple of clicks up in the Preset box.

You're not talking about avoiding updating the display, are you?  That's controlled by the [  ] Preview checkbox.

Are you seeing the controls being sluggish?

Perhaps you could be a bit more specific, including a description of what you'd like it to do.
