Tooltip widget - fonts display/preview as italic

Tooltip widget - i am using web fonts such as helvetica and arial and applying Bold, but when you preview or the site is live they display as italic...why?

    Hi,

     

    I'm not able to replicate the issue. Have you checked the text frame and see if that has the Italic selected.

    yes i have and no it hasn't. when the text is highlighted also, italics NOT selected, but definitely displays as italics on all browsers

    hi there attached images Screen Shot 2012-08-17 at 7.51.09 AM.pngScreen Shot 2012-08-17 at 7.52.00 AM.pngthe Muse text is stacked callouts. also, when the user rollsover the 3 "menus" at the bottom (out travel, about travel & contact us) they get 3 different callouts but the last one stays open, anyway to make that disappear without a close box? thanks

    Hi,

     

    Please inspect text formatting in all states. Perhaps italic is specified in the Active state, but not in the default state?

     

    As for making the last callout disappear, try the "Hide on Rollout" option. The default option is "Stay on Rollout".

    hi, text in all states checked. NO italics. also, "hide on rollout" is not an option in the widget menu! (using the latest beta)

    Could you send your Muse file to muse-support@adobe.com with a link to this forum post?

    I just realized the Hide on Rollout option is not available in the "Stacked" mode.

    The issue was a character style using an italic web font , which was subsequently overridden by a regular web-safe font.

    Redefing the character style fixed the issue.
