CS6 ExtendedScript Toolkit - UI in Japanese

Windows 7 (US-English); CS6 Master Collection.

 

All components were correctly installed in English, except the ExtendedScript Toolkit, which appears in Japanese.

I do not have any immediate plans to use it, but when the time comes, I would like to see the UI in English.  Anybody knows how to change it to English?

    Strange ...Ideally it should get installed in the same language as the other softwares.

     

    Can you share the Install logs , would like to see which language payload was used at the time of installation for the Extended toolkit.

    Actually I seem to recall a similar issue with CS5.5. I just can't remember what the solution was...

    I found this short video that explains how to install components in a different language: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2012/06/video-installing-multiple-languag es-of-a-cs6-desktop-app.html

     

    It mentions an 'Adobe Application Manager', which I cannot find anywhere on my system.  Should that 'Application Manager' automatically be installed with CS6 on Windows?  If so, where to find it?

    Downloaded and ran it; alas - it's also Japanese!

    AAM is used by Creative Cloud and subscriptions. If it, too, runs in Japanese, it would seem something is wrong with your Adobe AIR/ Flash Player config and install, as that's used by ESTK and AAM. Download AIR and reinstall it.

    Thank you, Lutz, for the additional recommendation.

     

    I have just uninstalled the entire CS6, including Adobe AIR.  Reinstalled AIR 3.3, and now reinstalling CS6 (after having made sure that the language is set to English).

    Result is the same: ES Toolkit is still in Japanese.

     

    Later this week I will do another reinstall; after checking all my Regional & Language settings; there may be things set to Japanese which may cause that effect.

     

    Still, I hope that Manish-Sharma can find something in the install logs that indicates why it is behaving this way.
