scanned file too big to email

I scanned some papers into a PDF file which came out to over 30mb.  It is too large for me to email.  Is there a way to divide up the file into smaller files.

    Not with just the free Reader. If it's a several page file, it can be done with Acrobat.

    You may need to re-scan in smaller chunks.

    Or re-scan with a lower resolution.

     

    However, the basic issue is that e-mail is not designed to transfer large data files.  Upload it to a 3rd-party server (e.g. Dropbox or Adobe Sendnow), then send the download link via email.  This also limits the possibility of email attachments getting damaged during the transfer.
