Transparency in 3D applications

Aug 18, 2012 2:09 AM

I have searched high and low for a solution to this.

I create a lot of Flash for 3D environments. These environments use the ActiveX Flash Plugin to display Flash content. When using tweens to adjust the alpha levels, or to move objects off the stage, I am having problems with Flash remaining transparent. It worked fine in Flash Player version 11.0.1.152. But later versions leave residual pixels instead of a transparent stage.

Is there something I can do to make transparency work properly in later versions of Flash Player?

It works fine in a browser, but once I load it into the 3D environment, I lose the transparency when the tween is activated. I really don't get why it worked in 11.0.1.152 but not in later versions of Flash Player.
