How to have a button accept more than a certain amount of characters.

I am make a game. And I wanted to know how to make people have nicknames. But not 0 characters, I want it to be more that 6 characters. Please help me.

    Just like the response you got in the AS3 forum, you can test the length property of the textfield to see how many characters are in it.
