I have a site that I cleaned up the Cases - only to find out that deleting Cases deleted the actual data. I've always thought of the cases as a "Notification" center of sorts and didn't realize deleting the case deleted all of the actual data from the database. I need to get that data recovered - I searced all the forums and the help center and I've emailed BC Support, but just wanted to check to see if anyone has encountered that problem before.
Hey there. No, cases are a critical part of the CRM, files from forms for example are even stored as cases. The workflow notification emails are just the notification.
You just have to see what BC support says but don't expect that you will get the data back.
