I saved a scanned document as a pdf and now want to delete it permanently. I have moved it to the trash, but when I try to empty the trash I get this weird error message: "The operation can’t be completed because the item “Goodland Kitchen Health Cert.pdf” is in use."
This is even though Adobe Reader is closed. I also tried moving it to a thumb drive to get rid of it, but it still remains in my trash. Any ideas?
