LR4 on desktop and laptop

I upgraded to LR4 on desktop, and I thought my license covered at least two computers.  How do I get the upgrade onto my laptop, which also has LR3 on it.  I tried downloading directly from Adobe's website, but it would not let me download the same product/serial number I used for the desktop.  I thought it should allow it.  Any thoughts?
