I have 2 sons, 15 & 17, and teach. Each of the boys has thier own workstation as do I and are doing graphic design coursework.
How can we manage 3 education licenses at one physical address?
I am looking at both the CC and the CS6 standalone product.
Steelhoof either the Creative Cloud membership or the Creative Suite 6 standalone product allow you to install on up to two computers. For a total of three installations you will either need two Creative Cloud memberships or two copies of the standalone software.
If you wish to have two Creative Cloud memberships then please put the second Creative Cloud account on a separate Adobe ID/E-mail address. The advantage of the Creative Cloud membership is it can be canceled as needed and it works on both Windows and Mac platforms. Also we will be providing additional updates to the Creative Cloud applications included with the subscription.
great. I was reading the licensing and noted one per user/family tpe comment in there sonwhere and had a concern.
Side question.
Once I have gone through the 8 hour download, where can i locate the actual default download to avoid a repeat of the DL. I have already encountered an error of the CS6 product and had to uninstall using the SC cleaner tool. (font issues acrodist.exe - system error -- adobeXMP.dll is missing)
I am not happy with the product in it's current iteration...
If you are referring to the Creative Cloud then it is currently not possible to copy the install files from one computer to another and still utilize the Adobe Application Manager to install. If you are concerned about having to download the software again then for the moment you can download the trials of the software and choose the License This Software option once it is installed in trial mode. You can then enter the Adobe ID tied to your Creative Cloud subscription.
