Everything that I read on the internet implies that the PDF should contain structured bookmarks that reflect the structure of the website. However, every time I create a PDF of a website I get a PDF with 'flat' bookmarks, that is, one root bookmark for the website and then all bookmarks for web pages contained within this root bookmark.
What I see is:
website
-page 1
-children of page 1
-page 2
-children of page 2
-page 3
...
-final page
- children of final page
What I was expecting was:
website
-page 1
-children of page 1
-...
-...
-page 2
-children of page 2
....
I'm trying to work out whether this is a problem with the HTML pages or whether it is a built-in limitation of the Standard version of Acrobat.
If anyone has any ideas then I'd be very grateful.
