Relink Media linking to wrong directory

So I've finished an offline edit and I'm trying to relink an entire folder in my project to the original media. The problem I'm having is that while Premiere will relink the first file in the directory to the proper file, it then relinks the rest of the files back to my edit proxies.

As I understand it, Premiere is supposed to relink to the same directory as the first file it asks for in the 'Link Media To' window but that's not happening.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

PP will do it automatically for every file in that same folder.

This often get's mucked up with media that stores each video clip in a different folder.

No, don't delete.  Just rename so that PP can't find it.  Then when you open PP, it'll ask you where the files are.  You just point it to the new folder.
