Fix timings for effects?

Hi

I have a project in which effects such as Zoom In and Stretch From Top are used. When the time of the slide is extended, the time taken for the objects to complete their effects increases too.

Is there a way to lock the timing of an effect so that it is not changed when the slide length is changed?

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious, but this is really bugging me at the moment.

This is very annoying, have introduced multiple times a feature request to be able to choose between absolute and relative timing, have begged, pleased with the team itself (I'm in the prerelease), but apparently this is not a priority for them. Request is always deferred. The only way to make this more important is to introduce as many times as possible.

I have learned not to add effects before all the timing is finished, that is the only tip I can offer.
