I am trying to make the first page of my project I am working on in InDesign have the same design as the one in Word. Can anybody help me with this? I am trying to make the yellow lines on the edge and botton you see in the picture below onto my InDesign. How do I go about doing this?
Here is how it looks right now. Thanks for the help!
What you need to create is a ounded rectangle, and a (thick/thin) stroke.
The 2nd item you would make a rounded rectalgle, then put you text frame on top filled with white to knock out the center.
Rather than turn off facing pages, you can still paste in place, and then simply add, or in this case subtract, the page width from the value in the x-coordinate field in the Control panel while the frame is still selected. Just type + or - anfer the current value, as appropriate, and then the page width including the units, and press Enter and ID will do the math.
