Capping downloads – how do you do it?

Is it possible to cap the number of time a publication produced in Digital Publishing Suite can be downloaded? For example, if you plan on making a publication free but only have a certain amount of budget available?


If so, how would you go about setting up the cap?

    Right now there's no way to limit the number of downloads of a given folio. We do support capping views in the Web Viewer, but that's not quite what you are after.

     

    We have this request in our list of possible future features, although I do not know when it might make it into the product.
