Opening a PDF newsletter contained in an email

When I get a financial email, it provides 2 links; for an online HTML version, or a PDF for a printable one.

When I select the PDF llink, the page flashes black and then shows the newsletter (Perhaps 8 pages or more). However when i use the print command it reverts to a 2 page document that is completely black on page 1 and top of page 2.

This has not happened until a couple of weeks ago. I had updagted Reader. Tried to use an older version subsequently with the same result.

I am using an iMac with Lion OS10.7.4, and Reader 10.1.4. Also an HP C7280 printer.

Any help appreciated

The Reader Plug-in For Safari doesn't work. If this is happening within Safari then the Apple PDF technology is at fault. Try downloading the pdf file to your desktop and directly opening the PDF in Reader. Are you seeing the same thing?
